Act I: A Day in the Life; or, Nothing Out of the Ordinary, Unfortunately
I talked to my boss, and she allowed me to bring in a laptop, for use when there are no customers about. It's a regular occurrence, so I figured I'd update the blog while I wait. I'm honestly not sure how I like this job, really. It's quiet, yes, and the pay's pretty good, but it's just so, I feel, boring.
I suppose I can't complain; the job wasn't exactly difficult to get, and, as I said, it's not terrible. Still, I do wish something more would happen.
Hang on, there's a customer.
It was a young, quiet girl who was wearing a red hood. She said nothing, only walking down the furthest isle from me, before leaving without buying anything. Weird.
